Questions, answered

The things people usually ask before starting a project. If yours isn't here, ask us directly.

Pricing and payment

How much does a typical project cost?

A single automated report or workflow usually starts at ₱25,000US$1,500. A reporting system with a live dashboard, automated data collection and alerts usually starts at ₱60,000US$3,500. The pricing section has the details. Your exact fee is fixed in writing after the diagnostic.

Why do you charge for the diagnostic?

Because it's real work, and it produces a plan you keep even if you don't hire us. It also means we can give you a fixed quote instead of a guess. The fee is credited in full if you start the build within 60 days.

Do you charge hourly?

Projects are fixed fee. Hourly rates only apply to small changes outside a care plan, and we estimate those in writing before starting. Any single request over 2 hours, or anything that changes what the system does, is treated as new development and quoted separately.

How do payments work?

The Diagnostic and Quick automations are paid in full upfront. Larger builds are 50% to start and 50% before handover: we build in our own test environment, show progress by recorded video, and move access, files and ownership to you once the final payment clears. Bigger projects are split into milestones. Clients in the Philippines pay in pesos by bank transfer or e-wallet. Clients elsewhere pay in US dollars through Wise, Payoneer or PayPal.

Are there other costs?

Sometimes. If a project needs a paid tool, such as a database or a higher Google Workspace tier, it's held in your name and paid by you at cost. We list these in the proposal. Most reporting projects need no new paid tools.

Timelines

How long does a project take?

The diagnostic takes 1 to 2 weeks. A single automation usually takes 2 to 3 weeks and a reporting system 4 to 6 weeks. The biggest variable is how quickly we get access and answers.

Can you start right away?

We take on a small number of projects at a time so each one gets proper attention. We'll give you a realistic start date when we reply to your inquiry.

Working together remotely

Do you work with clients outside the Philippines?

Yes, anywhere in the world. Everything we do is delivered remotely. Australian and Asian clients share most of our working day. For the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas we schedule calls in overlapping hours and keep progress updates in writing, so nothing waits on a meeting.

Do we have to get on a call?

No. Most projects run entirely in writing: you send a project brief, we reply with questions and a recorded walkthrough, and progress updates come as short written notes and screen recordings. If you prefer to talk, choose "Video call" in the brief and we'll send times that suit your time zone.

How will we communicate during a project?

A short weekly written update, recorded demos of progress, a shared document for decisions and open questions, and calls only when they're genuinely useful. You'll always know what's done, what's next and what we're waiting on.

Do we need to be technical?

No. You need to know how your business works. We handle the technical side and explain decisions in plain language.

Support and maintenance

What happens if something breaks after handover?

Defects in our work are fixed free for 90 days after handover. After that, fixes are covered by a care plan or the hour bank.

What's in a care plan?

Monitoring of scheduled jobs and alerts, fixes for defects in our work, and a fixed number of hours for small changes each month. Managed Reporting also includes preparing and checking your monthly report pack. Unused hours don't roll over. You can pay monthly, or once a year with two months free. If you'd rather not subscribe at all, a 10 hour bank valid for 12 months works too.

Do you offer 24/7 support?

No. Support runs during Philippine business hours, with response times stated in each plan. We design systems to fail safely, with alerts and fallbacks, so an overnight problem doesn't stop your business.

Can our own team maintain it instead?

Yes. Every project includes documentation and a walkthrough so your team can run it without us.

Data and confidentiality

How do you handle our data?

We ask for the minimum access needed, prefer view-only access and sample data during the diagnostic, keep credentials out of shared documents, and remove our access when the work ends. Details are agreed in writing for each project.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We can sign yours or provide a mutual NDA before you share anything sensitive.

Do you use AI tools on our data?

Only with your agreement and only where data handling meets your requirements. AI features we build always include human review where accuracy matters, and we'll tell you plainly when AI isn't the right tool.

Ownership

Who owns what you build?

You do, once the project is paid in full. Files, scripts, dashboards and documentation live in your accounts. We may reuse general techniques and non-confidential building blocks, never your data or business specifics.

Will you show our project in your portfolio?

Only with your written permission, and only what you approve. The demos on this site use synthetic data.
