How we handle the personal information you send us through this website.

Who we are
This website is operated by Kusa Studio, an independent studio based in Metro Manila, Philippines ("we", "us"). For privacy questions or requests, send a message through our contact form and choose "A question, not a project yet". We reply in writing.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, company, work email, country, the service you're interested in, your message, an optional budget range, your preferred contact method and, if you choose phone contact, your phone number. We also record that you agreed to this notice.
Please don't send passwords, bank or card details, government ID numbers or your customers' personal information through the form.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and discuss a possible project.
- To prepare proposals and, if you become a client, to manage the engagement.
- To keep a record of business correspondence.
- To detect and block spam and misuse of the form.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a marketing list without asking first.
Legal basis
We process inquiry information because you asked us to respond and gave consent when submitting the form, and because it's necessary to take steps toward a contract at your request. Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and, where applicable, laws such as the EU or UK GDPR and the Australian Privacy Act, you can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
Who processes it for us
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and receives form submissions. Netlify is based in the United States, so your submission may be processed outside your country.
- Google (Gmail) receives form notifications and stores our email correspondence.
- Google Ads receives information about visits to this site through its advertising tag, to measure our ads.
- Google Workspace tools, such as Sheets, may be used to keep track of inquiries and projects.
We use these providers under their standard terms and limit access to people who need it to respond to you.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses the Google Ads tag to measure whether people who click our ads go on to send a brief. The tag sets advertising cookies and sends details of your visit, such as the pages you view, to Google, which handles them under its own privacy policy. You can limit ad personalization in your Google account settings or by blocking third party cookies in your browser. Our fonts are hosted with the site. Prices are shown in PHP or USD based on your device's time zone setting, which is checked in your browser and never sent to us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to be informed about how your data is used, to access it, to correct it, to object to processing, to ask us to erase or block it, to receive it in a portable format, and to complain to a regulator. In the Philippines that regulator is the National Privacy Commission. To make a request, use our contact form. We'll respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to inquiries is limited to accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
